Giulia Nardone was born in Rome in 1995 and grew up in the southern part of the city.
Rome has always been her first muse: a city of contrasts, where ancient history and modern life intertwine, capable of surprising even during a simple walk.
Art and words have always been her means of exploration. Drawing was her first form of expression – silent, instinctive, essential. Books, instead, became her refuge: a place to lose herself and, at the same time, to tell her own story. From an early age, she was fascinated by anything that carried a story. She learned to listen and to observe, spending afternoons with her parents in bookstores, libraries, and the quiet rooms of museums, where her gaze was trained to slow down. Photography has also always accompanied her eye: first digital, now analog.
