Paul Klee (1879–1940) was a Swiss-born German artist whose work blended Expressionism, Cubism, and Surrealism. A master of color theory, he saw deep connections between music and visual art, which shaped his distinctive style. Klee taught at the Bauhaus alongside Kandinsky, producing over 10,000 works characterized by playfulness, abstraction, and poetic symbolism. His pieces, such as Angelus Novus and Senecio, continue to inspire artists worldwide.
