Antonio Sanfilippo

Antonio Sanfilippo (1923–1980) was an Italian painter associated with Abstract Art and the international Informal movement. His work is characterized by rhythmic signs, vibrant color fields, and a strong gestural quality, reflecting a deep interest in visual language and perception. Sanfilippo’s research places him among the key figures of post-war Italian abstraction.
